2. Contents of the Student Protection plan


1. Academic continuity risk assessment and coping mechanism

- Risk identification system:

▶ Natural risk: extreme weather such as typhoon and rainstorm (refer to the Regulations of Guangdong Province on Meteorological Disaster Prevention)

▶ Public health events: infectious disease outbreaks (refer to the Regulations on Public Health Emergencies)

▶ Policy risk: Policy adjustment of education authorities

▶ Special group risk:

- International students: Visa policy changes

- Sports special students: Event cancellation affects credit recognition

- Higher secondary students: Bridging course adjustment


- Differentiated response strategies:

▶ Establish student health records, and implement a special care mechanism for chronic disease students

▶ Provide full-time counselors for international students and provide visa consultation services

▶ The dual-track assessment mechanism of theoretical and practical courses for sports courses


2. Teaching safeguard measures

▶ Teaching implementation standards:

- The course outline and training plan match 100%

- Conduct teaching quality assessment at least 3 times per semester

- Establish a tracking and feedback mechanism for graduates (the employment rate of graduates has exceeded 92% for five consecutive years)


▶ Three-level emergency response mechanism:

Level I response:

- Enable the "Smart Classroom" system to support blended teaching

- Practical courses are adjusted to virtual simulation experiments (equipped with 23 VR LABS)

- Examination extension application online approval (within 72 hours)


Level II response:

- The whole course online "Guangying Cloud Class" platform (support 4K live video)

- Establish "1+1" tutor support system (each teacher is responsible for 30 students)

-Develop mobile learning APP (including offline download, voice answering function)


Level III response:

- Signed joint training agreements with six universities, including Guangdong University of Technology and Guangzhou University

- Set up a special transfer fund (up to 5000 yuan/student)

- Establish a green channel for credit mutual recognition (has achieved credit mutual recognition with 32 universities)


▶ Teacher resource guarantee:

- Reserve faculty pool covers 98% of professional courses

- Implementation of the "Double teachers Plan" (the current double teachers account for 63%)

- Establishment of teacher Development Center (annual training over 2000 people)


3. Fee refund and compensation policy

▶ Regular refund rules:

- Refund calculation formula: Total tuition fee ÷10×(10- number of months studied)

- Accommodation fee is based on actual stay days (less than 30 days is calculated as 30 days)

- The fee of teaching materials is settled according to the actual quantity received (provide electronic list query)


▶ Special Compensation clause:

- Double compensation for false publicity (refer to Article 55 of the Law on Protection of Consumer Rights and Interests)

- Teaching interruption compensation standard:

- Interruption of 1-2 weeks: refund of 10% tuition for the semester

- Interruption of 3-4 weeks: refund of 20% tuition for the semester

- Interruption of more than 1 month: negotiate to change major or school

- Provide employment recommendation service (more than 500 cooperative enterprises)


▶ Refund process:

1. Students submit refund application online (need to upload proof materials)

2. Department Audit (within 5 working days)

3. Accounting by Finance Department (within 3 working days)

4. Bank transfer payment (within 7 working days)


4. Information communication mechanism

▶ Distribution channel:

- WeChat public account: Guangying Student Service (pushed weekly)

- New Student Handbook: sent with the admission letter (including QR code direct policy library)


▶ Feedback mechanism:

- Principal Reception Day: 14:00-17:00 on the last Friday of every month

- Department suggestion box: Set up a 24-hour intelligent feedback system (real-time generation of processing progress)

- Student Congress: held in May every year (proposal handling rate of 95%)


▶ Emergency Notification:

- Emergency SMS notification: coverage reaches 99% within 30 minutes

- Campus public address system: 7×24 hours emergency channel
