1. Core Administrative and Strategic Departments

(1)School Office 

Serving as the administrative nerve center, the School Office coordinates cross-departmental operations and facilitates leadership decision-making: 

- Drafts, reviews, and disseminates official documentation (strategic plans, policies, announcements) while managing institutional seals and credentials. 

- Orchestrates high-level meetings (board sessions, academic conferences) and oversees protocol for external stakeholders, including government agencies and partner institutions.

(4)Audit Office

Functioning as an independent oversight entity, the Audit Office safeguards institutional integrity and risk management:

   - Evaluates internal control frameworks, fixed asset lifecycle management, and procurement processes, recommending improvements to prevent fraud and waste.

(5) University Research Center (Planning and Development Office)

Introduction to Each College

1. School of Law and Politics

Overview:

The School of Law and Politics was established in 2003, originally as the Department of Law and Politics. It was officially upgraded to a school in 2021. The school adheres to the motto "Virtue, Law, Prudence, and Diligence", and based on the provincial key characteristic cultivation discipline (Civil and Commercial Law) and the provincial first-class major (Law), it has constructed a disciplinary system of "Law + Public Administration", aiming to cultivate application-oriented talents with a sense of the rule of law and social responsibility.

Programs Offered:

Law: A provincial comprehensive reform pilot major and a first-class major construction unit, with a provincial-level off-campus practical education base for law education.

Public Administration: Focusing on government governance and public services, it strengthens the ability of policy analysis and administrative practice.

Social Work: Emphasizing social services and grassroots governance, it has in-depth cooperation with 55 practical bases.

Faculty and Research:

The school currently has 95 faculty members, including 18 professors and associate professors, and 7 doctors. In the past three years, it has undertaken 12 provincial-level or above research projects and published over 80 papers. Students have achieved excellent results in the "Challenge Cup" and "Mock Court Competition", with a judicial examination pass rate exceeding the national average. 2. School of Foreign Languages

Overview:

The School of Foreign Languages was formerly the Foreign Languages Department of Guangzhou University Songtian College and was renamed in 2020. The school aims to cultivate "Foreign Languages +" compound talents, with a provincial-level ideological and political education demonstration project (Business English) and a provincial first-class course (Advanced English). It has established cooperation with over 10 overseas universities.

Programs Offered:

English: A key discipline at the university level, emphasizing "English + Education / Business" dual skills.

Business English: Aligning with the cross-border e-commerce industry, it introduces international certification courses (BEC).

3. School of Economics and Management

Overview:

The School of Economics and Management is one of the earliest teaching units of the university. It aims for "digitalization and internationalization", with a provincial characteristic major (Finance) and international characteristic majors of Zhongjiao Holding Group (Accounting, Financial Management).

Programs Offered:

Finance: A provincial first-class major, focusing on financial technology and inclusive finance.

Accounting: Introduces the ACCA course system and cooperates with King's College, Australia, for a joint undergraduate and postgraduate program.

It has established one industrial college and over 40 off-campus internship bases. 4. School of Computer Science

Overview:

The School of Computer Science is guided by "industry-education integration", building a disciplinary cluster of "Artificial Intelligence + Big Data + Software Engineering", and collaborates with enterprises such as Huawei and Tencent to strengthen programming, algorithm, and system development capabilities.

8. School of Sports Science and Technology

Overview:

13. School of Literature and Media

Overview:

The School of Literature and Media is characterized by "media innovation", offering majors such as Chinese language and literature, journalism, advertising, and broadcasting and hosting art. It has practical platforms such as a 4K virtual studio and a media convergence studio.

Professional Highlights:

Journalism: Emphasizes the ability to conduct media convergence reporting and editing and produce short videos.

Broadcasting and Hosting Art: Focuses on new media anchors and film and television dubbing, with students participating in the recording of provincial satellite TV programs.

14. School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Overview:

The School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship coordinates the entire university's innovation and entrepreneurship education, building a "curriculum + competition + incubation" education system. It has a provincial-level mass innovation space and a college student innovation and entrepreneurship training base.

Main Functions:

Chairman of the Board

Wang Rui, also serving as vice president, presides over the overall work of the school's board of directors. He is responsible for finance, auditing, information technology, infrastructure, logistics, asset management, and procurement management; he oversees the board of directors' office, finance department, auditing office, information center, infrastructure department, general affairs department, asset management center, and procurement office. He is in contact with the School of Music.

Vice Chairman of the Board

Liu Jianfeng, assists the chairman in his work. He is responsible for the school's development strategy, leadership team building, and special tasks assigned by the board of directors.

2. Party Committee Leadership

Party Secretary

Chen Guangtuan, also serving as a director and supervisor, presides over the overall work of the school's party committee. He is responsible for letters and visits, confidentiality, publicity, cadres, and talent work; he oversees the party committee office, publicity department (news center), and teacher work department. He is in contact with the School of Marxism and the School of Fine Arts and Creativity.

Executive Vice President

Wu Ge, manages the school's daily work. He is responsible for teaching, laboratory and equipment management, international education, international cooperation and exchange, and Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan affairs; he oversees the academic affairs office, experimental and practical training center, international cooperation and exchange office, and Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan affairs office. He is in contact with the School of Foreign Languages and the School of International Education.

Vice President

Liu Zhixin, also serving as deputy secretary of the party committee and discipline inspection committee secretary. He is responsible for student management, employment, ideological and political education, mental health education, national defense education, the Communist Youth League, campus culture construction, organization, discipline inspection, and united front work; he oversees the student affairs office (student work department), employment guidance center, organization department, united front department, armed forces department, security work department, and the Communist Youth League committee. Li Jingsong, assists in managing infrastructure, logistics, asset management, and procurement work; he assists in overseeing the infrastructure department, general affairs department, asset management center, and procurement office. He is in contact with the School of Literature and Media.

Ou Shishen, responsible for continuing education and enrollment work; he oversees the continuing education college and the enrollment office.

Wu Mingsheng, also serving as the chairperson of the trade union, is responsible for security and fire protection, the trade union, and alumni affairs; he oversees the security department and assists in overseeing administrative and legal affairs. He is in contact with the School of Sports Science and Technology.

Li Genzhen, assists in overseeing human resources work. She is in contact with the School of Computer Science.
